So what is the difference between 'Buy Now' and 'Commission' ?

When you click 'buy now' you are buying the exact painting shown in the image. When you click 'commission' you are buying a similar version to the image shown. Commissioned paintings bought may vary slightly from the picture shown as each painting is beautifully hand-painted as each order is received. Although great care is made to ensure the colours and style are identical to the images shown here there may be minute differences.

Why not take advantage of our FREE UK postage as well as our low cost international rates. If you are buying from outside the UK please contact us for our postage rates before making a purchase, thank you!

All items are sent via private courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery and are fully insured. Each painting is securely packaged, carefully film wrapped and bubble wrapped to obtain maximum protection. However if for any reason your item doesn't arrive, is damaged or is nothing like what you were expecting do contact us and we will endeavour to help you or offer you a full refund for up to 7 days after arrival. Postage unfortunately is non-refundable though.

Usually most commissioned paintings will take 1 to 2 days to complete and postage is either same day or next day before 1pm. Do however allow up to 14 working days for commissions to be completed, this just covers us in case we run out of paint or canvasses! We will inform you however if this is the case.

This short video clip shows a painting of Bamburgh Castle by sunset in Northumberland being painted. A stunning place I visited when I was about 15 years old, full of atmosphere. This is a shortened version of the film I took, speeded up. The painting actually took quite a few hours to do with plenty of brush washes.
